Hot Mess: Organic Coffee Scrub

After falling in love with a really cool product called Frank Coffee Scrub, Cheryl was inspired to meld her background in skincare and love of organic ingredients to create her own, unique version of a coffee scrub.  Alas, her first organic skincare concoction was born!

We gave it a shot last night and it certainly does not disappoint.  I’ve never been big on taking the time to use any kind of fancy scrubby-things (I mean really — that’s like 5 extra minutes in the shower and who has time for that when there are chickens to be fed and a garden to tend?!), but this stuff has completely changed my mind (5 minutes?  Hell, I’ll give you 10, little coffee scrub!).  It’s like a miracle scrub (and I think I got my caffeine buzz IN the shower this morning, so really, I’m SAVING time.).

The perfect texture for an exfoliant — this is not so abrasive that you feel like you’re scrubbing yourself with steel wool, but gritty enough to target those rough areas and scuff away dry skin.  The perfect combination of oils leaves you moisturized and soft while the vitamins and minerals will nourish and hydrate your pretty body resulting in a radiance your skin hasn’t had in…well…probably ever.

I’m boasting some seriously cleansed and happy pores today!  And let me tell you — I smell so good I’m making myself hungry.  My skin thanks you, Cheryl Baker.

After a few additional ingredients (all edible!!! Really, you could eat this stuff if), the first batch was packaged and handed off to its lucky owners.

Sweet little bag of pure goodness.

After a few more tweaks and some feedback from our “brave” family and friends who are acting as our guinea pigs, we’ll devise some way to place orders.  Stay tuned!
